City Slickers is a street-style poster-show in conjunction with Verb offering the latest addition of boards to Revolution Skateboards. We interviewed the organisers at Verb and caught up with some of Cape Town’s art aficionados. Held on Bree Street- the heart of urban Cape Town- City Slickers took place on the 16 April 2010, and served as a unique creative platform for South Africa’s diverse culture of artists and designers.
Alive with colour and innovation, City Slickers captured the energy of Cape Town with an exhibition of 80 – 100 screen-printed posters. The event also served as a launch for Verb’s exclusive rage of limited edition boards designed by 12 South African artists.
